My First Born Muse

What can I say... Gabe rocks the camera when he wants to! He is modeling his newest outfit, jeans, t-shirt and hat. Seeing as how he has grown out of almost everything in his closet, when we came across a sale on some cool clothes, we went a little crazy.

Happy Birthday, Roxy!

Wow! Roxy turned one year old today. They say that's seven in dog years, but I'm convinced she's still a rowdy 4 year old just like Gabe! So what do you do for 'man's best friend' on her birthday?
Let her sleep on the bed?
Shower her with praises?
Buy her a doggie cake?
Put a silly hat on her and
make her pose for pictures? Answer: All of the above! It's good to be a dog!

WIPA Print Competition

"Untitled, New Orleans, 2005" by Nathan B Harrmann

This image just won 1st Place in the "People" category and also took "Best of Show" in the annual WIPA (Wisconsin Imaging and Photographers Association) print competition. Awards were handed out at the annual Vice-Presidents Dinner, held this year at Joey Bouna's Italian Resturant in downtown Milwaukee. Two more of my prints took third place (PJ/PR category) and honorable mention (People category).

Every day is a new experience

Asher has been working all week to push himself up and today he did it. And as he sat there, propped up on my chest, he looked around as if to say, "This sure beats a face full of carpeting!" I would have to agree!
