Uhh...FUTBALL?

So Gabe and I got really excited about signing him up for soccer. So off we went to the store to outfit him properly! (Daddy's big on having the right equipment for the job!) We picked up some cleats, shinguards and the correct size ball for practicing. The jersey is courtesy of Grandma and Papa Staude's trip to Europe. We had fun talking about rules and what a goalie is. Gabe kept informing me that Papa already taught him how to dribble and that he was "super fast!" I tried explaining that in other countries people call it "futball" - but he seemed a bit confused by that. I guess we'll stick to the basics... Looks like he's ready to go!

Backyard Summer Fun!

Gabe and I had lots of fun swimming and playing in our backyard this evening. We splashed each other, swam in the pool and had a water fight! What a fun evening. We had a blast!

A Weekend In Door County

We all went up to Door County this past weekend to spend some time with my in-laws. We had amazing weather, not just warm and sunny but beautiful stormclouds, sunsets and rain showers. Topped it all off with an ice cream from Wilson's... Perfect!
